Curriculum & Application

IBI's course of study consists of approximately 9 months of training in sound Biblical theology combined with courses covering areas of practical ministry.  1st year students' classes will comprise Spiritual Authority, Prayer & Intercession, Life Principles, Evangelism, "Nuts & Bolts", Effective Bible Study, Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, Gifts of the Holy Spirit, Art of Hearing God, & Church History.

2nd year students will take Evangelism & Missions, Practical Pastoring, Basic Theology, Ministry Management, Old Testament, & Life Principles.

The above courses will be spread over both semesters.

Also, practical ministry opportunities will be expanded to include daily mentoring in Office Management, Christian Education, PreK - 12), Christian Media/Editing, Web Design, Street Drama, Hospital Ministry, Sports Programming, Hospitality, Worship, Children's Ministry, Ministry Promotion/Advertising, College/High School Campus Event Planning and Event Implementation.

The application process is simple:

• Step 2: Complete Family & Financial Information online;
• Step 3: Complete Testimony & Academic Information online;
• Step 4: Complete References & Health Information online;
• Step 5: Download and complete the Standard of Excellence Pledge, the Pastoral Recommendation form and the Parental Recommendation form, and mail or drop them off to:

• Step 6: Once accepted, download and complete the forms contained in the Pre-Arrival Packet.  This contains vital information about tuition, room and board & more.
